GDC 2025 Hosting Reveal of New ESA Accessibility Initiative This March

The team behind the Game Developers Conference (GDC), together with The Entertainment Software Association (ESA), announced that a first-of-its-kind accessibility initiative will be revealed during the GDC Main Stage Presentation on March 20.

Attendees will be able to join Entertainment Software Association Senior Vice President Aubrey Quinn, renowned accessibility consultant, speaker and journalist Paul Amadeus Lane and accessibility leaders from Electronic Arts, Google, Microsoft, Nintendo of America and Ubisoft on March 20, starting at 12:15pm PT.

During the session, attendees will be able to learn about a new accessibility initiative slated to improve the player experience for more people. Attendees will also be able to hear from panel participants about the importance of coming together as a coalition for the benefit of the greater player community.

The event will be available for all Game Developer Conference 2025 participants.
