How To Make Island Rustic, Sleazy, Pop, Or Elegant In Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth

Certain Guest Requests involve islands of a certain theme. This guide on How To Make Island Rustic, Sleazy, Pop, Or Elegant In Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth breaks down how you can change the theme of Dondoko Island to match your guests requests and increase the money you earn at the end of the tour.

Whenever you look at the Guests Requests list, the third option on their list will always be related to the environment on your island. There are two types of requests here, theme and objects. If a guests ask to see a certain number of a certain type of object, you simply need to build objects in that category. It can be anywhere on the island, it doesn’t have to be near the guests lodgings.

The other option for that third Guest Request is slightly more complicated. Guests may ask for a slighty sleazy island, a fairly Rustic island, a very pop island, or even an Extremely Elegant island. To understand these guest requests simply open the Dondoko Island information screen from the main Dondoko Island menu.

In the lower left of this screen you will see the “Genre” information. This is a combination of all the themed items on the map belonging to each category. For example, if you build 2 buildings with the Rustic trait, it will increase the Rustic rating.

If you look behind the colored bars, there are white lines. These lines depict the actual value level of that particular genre. For example, if your yellow bar for Pop is at the first white like (not the one at the very bottom), that would fulfill the “slightly pop” guest request.

The next line up is the “fairly” ranking, after that is the “very” ranking, and finally the top white line is the “extremely” ranking. Simply place more objects from a specific category, increase the bar to the next white line, and it will go up a rank.
