My method works for both cops and enemy reinforcements…
Go to the closest place where there is water…jump in and swim to the closest boat and escape… If the chopper follows you just disable it and you should be good to go…

im on ps5 and the bottom slot is for arrows – ithink my game is bugged i can put food on the wheel 🙁 i have even try to un eqip the bow and arrow but still cant put food on the wheel —- i have to pause the game go to inventory and select food that way

In reply to Redphang. Tortuga has a faction vendor for reputation & buying, not selling. The Buyer for each faction, the NPC that buys items from the player, can only be found on the main base island for that faction.

I also am confused by this. I see “could be sold to….buccaneers, smugglers, or people of Tortuga.” No one at either of the camps or in Tortuga buys these. I only have the option to buy FROM them.
