The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The expansive world of Hyrule awaits once more in Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, a follow-up to 2017’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

This is far from a simple retread; players will be able to explore a floating sky world and an underground world known as the Depths. Series protagonist Link can also use a number of Zonai devices in combat, propulsion, and exploration. The world is your oyster, leading to a dynamic setting where no two experiences are the same.

Purchasing options can be found on the official The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom website.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder

Mario has been making waves since the 80s, but Nintendo’s Super Mario Bros. Wonder treads new ground with an-all new journey.

Set in the Flower Kingdom, players will be able to utilize Wonder Flowers that change the world around them. Anything goes across countless stages, from singing enemies to freak storms. The unique power-ups and tight platforming action are present and accounted for, but this title exudes innovation and charm in every breath.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder once again proves that Mario is the king of the platforming genre. Much like his previous adventures did before, the amount of creativity and polish on display sets a new industry standard.Super Mario Bros. Wonder Review, Casey Scheld

Pikmin 4

The first new game in the series in 10 years, Nintendo’s Pikmin 4 once again features a wild world full of puzzles, time management, and threats.

Players will once again be able to control different Pikmin that have their own perks, but new Pikmin like the Glow Pikmin and Ice Pikmin change the formula on its head with nighttime expeditions and frozen water traversal. When all else fails, the new canine-like companion Oatchi is sure to put a smile on your face and get you out of a pinch.

Purchasing options for the digital version can be found on the official Nintendo website.

Fire Emblem Engage

Tactical role-playing meets deep storytelling with Intelligent Systems and Nintendo’s Fire Emblem Engage.

Continuing the series’ legacy, players will control Alear, who finds themselves in a conflict with the Fell Dragon Sombron. 12 magic rings that contain copies of previous Fire Emblem characters are at one’s disposal, along with deep gameplay that encourages forward thinking. Rounding things out is a new art style and 3D animation models that serve as the perfect showpiece for that Nintendo Switch OLED that Santa also brought.

Purchasing options for the digital version can be found on the official Nintendo website.
