Although Substories are typically an optional element of the Yakuza games, Substory 33 is a mandatory Substory. This means you cannot miss it, it&#8217;s forced on you as part of the main story.<\/p>\n<p>This happens near the beginning of Chapter 6. Depending on how you play, it can take some time to get there. If you watch all of the cut-scenes and enjoy some of the optional side content as you&#8217;re leveling up, such as the fantastic Sujimon League, it will likely take you 18-24 hours to reach Chapter 6.
