A week-long conference in San Francisco, the Game Developers Conference has concluded with nearly 30,000 attendees, more than 1,000 speakers, 750 sessions, workshops, roundtable discussions, and networking opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
GDC paid host to developers, exhibitors and attendees worldwide. 400 top game industry teams made their appearance, including Meta, Tencent Games, Snail Games, and Servers.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stephenie Hawkins, GDC Event Director, said the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\u201cSeeing the the engrossing lectures, the collective labor organizing and the amazing performances from Austin Wintory alongside the artists at GDC Nights has been an affirming experience and helps reinforce the value of GDC\u2019s mission to connect developers through their shared passion for game development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The past few years have seen increasing challenges for game developers the world over, but we\u2019re proud to see GDC continue to serve as a beacon. GDC will return to the Moscone Center from March 9 to March 13, 2026. Note that the call for submissions for GDC 2026 will open in early July 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
