Influential Game Designer Rob Pardo Hosting GDC Festival of Gaming March 12

Looking back at his work on a number of the gaming industry’s enduring classics, influential game designer Rob Pardo will deliver a keynote at the GDC Festival of Gaming March 12.
Titled “An Odyssey in Building Games That Last,” Rob Pardo’s GDC Festival of Gaming keynote will reflect on decades spent working on and shaping classic titles like StarCraft, World of Warcraft, and Diablo
As the Co-Founder and CEO of Bonfire Studios, Rob Pardo is currently working on their debut team-based, competitive PvP title Arkheron – a title combining the thrill of competition with the warmth of community.
Rob Pardo’s keynote will be held on the GDC Main Stage in North Hall on Thursday, March 12, at 9am PT.
Nina Brown, President of GDC, said the following:
“For more than three decades, Rob Pardo has helped define what enduring game design looks like.
At a time when our industry is navigating rapid technological change and evolving business models, his perspective is both grounding and forward-looking.
Rob’s commitment to building games that players return to again and again reflects exactly the kind of creative conviction GDC Festival of Gaming is here to celebrate.”
