Everybody's Golf: Hot Shots is the definitive arcade golf game, with countless golfers, caddies, courses, and modes just waiting to be explored.
Teeing up zany golf antics for decades (we’re talking 32-bit!), HYDE and Bandai Namco are bringing the time-tested Hot Shots Golf/Everybody’s Golf series to new platforms with the appropriately-titled Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots.

Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots Review
For a title with saucer-eyed cuties, overly dramatic caddies, and Pac-Man as a golfer, Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots packs some serious depth.
After placing one’s tee, the tried-and-true three click system comes into play. While some button mappings differ compared to previous entries (watch your muscle memory…), rock-solid fundamentals make their glorious return in Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots.
Lining up one’s shot, one can then choose if they want to add some spice by adjusting Power and Spin. Timing one’s button presses just right, their little ball (hopefully) then makes its way home with a little birdie (or eagle) in tow.
Make sure to also keep wind speed and weather in mind too!
Do things right in Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots, and one will get an extreme close-up and a rainbow-colored “Nice Shot!” text that hits those dopamine receptors just right.
Do things wrong, however, and Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots will also let you know – we’re talking negative flashes and those aforementioned caddies showing their…less-than-happy sentiment.
No matter how you play, Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots is truly addictive.

While we’ve been playing the series for decades, Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots is perfect for newcomers and veterans alike. In addition to a collection of guides, Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots features countless settings and difficulty modes to ease even the most casual players into the swing of things.
Sorry, couldn’t resist.
If all else fails, there’s also an in-game Shop where one can purchase quality gear and items with currency earned through play.
We’re not too sure how eating a Scotch egg correlates to improving one’s spin technique, but we’re not complaining.
Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots’ wealth of content will easily be one’s next addiction. While players start out with the returning Highland C.C. Course, they’ll quickly unlock additional courses, caddies, and golfers (we’re talking dozens) as they max out the VS Gauge alongside Loyalty and Trust parameters.
However, there’s a caveat – Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots has players unlocking the majority of its content like ye olden days.
That being said, we welcomed this approach with open arms – we loved taking on opponents for the honor of playing as them! If one is looking to check out everything from the offset, be forewarned that sweat equity is required.
Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots features a wealth of modes for players to choose from. World Tour mode lets players live out their main character syndrome fantasies, while Challenge Mode lets players earn currency and build their VS Gauge to take on new rivals.
However, Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots also keeps things interesting with its new Wacky Golf mode. One can team up in Scramble, reign chaos with Colorful’s variables, steal clubs in Survival, or even cause an explosion with Boom Golf. Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots packs tremendous replayability in the most creative of ways.
Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots is the definitive arcade golf game, with countless golfers, caddies, courses, and modes just waiting to be explored.
