How To Increase Research Knowledge In Crimson Desert
Various Research Institutions in Crimson Desert provide players with the opportunity to invest in Research to unlock new locations, technologies, and items. However, each of them requires the player to gather enough Fundamental Research Knowledge in order to progress through the Research tree.
Although all different, all function in the same way. When you first arrive you will need to complete a Request from the Researcher. Once this quest is complete, you can study the first Research item.
Once that item is finished, you will unlock a quest chain for that particular Research Institute. You can find the appropriate ones in the Journal, as shown below.
- Pororin Forest Guardians – Pororin Research Institute
- Scholastone Institute – Scholastone Research Institute
- Ironflame Orcs – Gorthak Ironworks Research Institute
- Urdavah – Urdavah Research Institute
- Delesyia National Institute – The Institute Of Delesyia
These are basically tiny requests in the immediate area, usually involving observing different elements tied to that Research Institution. Once complete, you will have enough knowledge to Research additional items.
