How To Dye Armor & Clothes In Crimson Desert

Crimson Desert features one of the most impressive armor dye and customization systems in recent memory. Players can dye dozens of parts of their armor, creating custom and unique looks with minimal effort required.

There are two main elements to learning to dye armor and clothes. How, and where. Firstly, let’s get to the where.

Where To Dye Armor

Thankfully, you don’t have to wait long to start showing your style. You can find a Dyehouse just South East of Hernand, near the river. There’s a merchant there that both sells dyes and lets you dye your armor with the dyes you have.

How To Get Dyes

Dyes are obtained in a couple of ways. Firstly, they are sometimes used as quest rewards and can be found and stolen from various places in the world. Additionally, dyes can be crafted by the player.

To do this, all you need to do is fine a cauldron, such as the one near the Dye shop, in town, or at the first Witch house. You can then experiment with ingredients to make your own dyes. Once a dye has been made and used from the inventory, it is unlocked permanently without the need for further materials.
