Where To Sell Items In Windrose

Many items looted from enemies and ships in Windrose can be sold. These items usually feature “can be sold to” in the item description, each listing one of the four factions in the game.

Windrose features a procedurally generated game world, so your world and locations will not be the same as ours. However, the game features quest chains that directs the player to most of the locations, such as the Underground Network quest.

The Underground Network Faction Quest is what will bring you to the Smugglers location

Almost all quests in Windrose start the same way. Exploring “?” locations on items, inspecting important clues (marked by a clear shining special effect), and looting items into Curios before adding them to your journal.

The Underground Network quest is the same. You find a smuggler’s camp that has been ransacked, and once you inspect all of the details at the location, the quest begins.

It’s important to understand that Tortuga is a central hub for buying items and exchanging reputation items. The Buyers, the NPC’s who buy the items from the player, are not in Tortuga. They are on the main base islands for their respective factions.

Below is a list of each faction and what it purchases.

  1. So this doesn’t actually tell us where to sell the items, just to who. I can’t find the People of Tortuga buyer.

    1. All of the factions were introduced to me via quests, with the exception of Brethren of the Coast, I had to find that via exploration. I’d give exact locations if I could

  2. I also am confused by this. I see “could be sold to….buccaneers, smugglers, or people of Tortuga.” No one at either of the camps or in Tortuga buys these. I only have the option to buy FROM them.

    1. Tortuga has a faction vendor for reputation & buying, not selling.

The Buyer for each faction, the NPC that buys items from the player, can only be found on the main base island for that faction.
