Where To Find Damaged Qubit Chips In The Alters
Damaged Chips are used to create Qubit Chips that Jan can repair at the Workstation before applying to the Quantum Computer to unlock slots for additional Alters and Research options.
Important: These Damaged Chips CAN BE MISSED, restricting upgrades, research technologies, and more as you progress. As such, it’s vital you find these chips as quickly and easily as possible.
Whenever you attempt to locate these chips, always be prepared. Make sure to have several Drill Charges and additional Suit Batteries to deal with any obstacles.
Act 1 Damaged Chip
Act 2 Damaged Chip #1
This Damaged Chip can be found immediately after you begin Act 2. As soon as you’re able to leave the ship, instead of going toward the anomaly, go the other direction. You’ll find it near the Enriched Metals field there.
Act 2 Damaged Chip #2
Unlike the first region, there is a second Damaged Chip here. You can find this one at the location above. You will need to pass through an energy draining anomaly and then climb a wall, so bring some additional batteries with you.
