Adventuring through Hyrule, or above and below it, there are a lot of combat challenges and a lot of enemies will stand in your way. As such, you want to be as prepared as possible. Being able to hold more weapons and shields means you can fight for longer without having to rely on the garbage weapons the enemies drop. That’s where Korok Seeds come into play.

You spend Korok Seeds by speaking with Hetsu. Unlike the first game, he is more static in Tears of the Kingdom. He will appear at the main base at the landing but not before you have progressed far enough into the story. You need to reach the point where you are given a quest to reach out to all 4 nations of Hyrule. Once you have that quest, complete the objectives for at least two of the nations and then return to the landing.
