What Is The Bar In The Bottom Left For In Crimson Desert

Crimson Desert is a game filled with mechanics and systems on top of systems, and very few of those systems are explained. One such feature that may confuse some players, is the bar in the bottom left corner of the screen on the left side of the mini-map.

In essence, this bar is your experience meter. Unlike more traditional RPG’s where the player gains experience points and in turn increases vital stats, things work slightly differently in Crimson Desert.

When the meter is filled, players are rewarded with an Abyss Artifact. These are spent on the Skills menu to unlock new abilities for Kliff and his allies.

However, it is possible to level much faster by utilizing this feature. If you find Abyss Cores with the perk of Skill EXP Gain, this drastically increases the amount of experience points earned in combat.

Utilizing a number of these cores on your levelling gear can be a great way to get more Abyss Artifacts quicker.
