What To Do With Mega Shards In Pokemon Legends Z-A

Mega Shards are scattered through the city and can be collected by having a Pokemon attack them, but what are they for? Mega Shards are exchanged for Mega Stones, the highly rare items required to have Pokemon perform Mega Evolutions.

DON’T MISS: Our HUGE List Of 60+ Mega Stones & Where To Find Them

A word of warning. You are only able to hold 999 Mega Shards. The game does not tell you when you are full, and you are still able to collect Mega Shards, but they are wasted. As such, it’s a good idea to spend them long before you get to maximum capacity.

Before you are able to exchange your Mega Shards, you need to reach the right point in the story. This is during Main Mission 10: The Secrets of Mega Evolution. Near the end of the quest you will reach Rank F and be asked to meet someone at the Quasartico Inc. building.

Once you have access to the building, you can go inside and speak to the clerks behind the counter. They will offer to exchange your Mega Shards. You can trade for the following. Entries marked with * are unlocked via story progress.
