Best Iron Ore Farming Locations In Crimson Desert
Iron Ore is a required resource throughout the entire game. The very first weapons you Refine will require it, and the very last weapons you Refine will require it. We’ve got a map here with multiple locations right at the start of the game.
Early Game
Early game, your trusted Pickaxe is going to be your best choice, until you get Focus Punch. There are a couple of ore nodes East and West of Hernand, near fast travel locations, but the best route is down near Howling Hills.
The cliffs below base camp are filled with 6 iron nodes, offering plenty for your early game advancement.
BONUS TIP: Remember, whenever you find an ore node, always destroy at least 1 node. This will “discover” the location and mark it permanently on your map. Go to your map and select the Environment tab to find all previously discovered ore locations.
Mid-Late Game
As you progress through the game and Silver becomes easier to obtain, you can bolster your farming efforts by purchasing ore from vendors. Just North of Hernand is Cairn House, where you can buy stocks of 7 Iron Ore.
As you level up Howling Hill camp, the vendor there will have an Iron stock of 30 pieces. Combine this with your regular farming routes and you’ll have plenty of materials.
BONUS TIP: Ore nodes take 7 in-game days to respawn. As such, it’s a good idea to do all your mining at once. Go to each location, mine it all clear, and then repeat in a week.
