How To Clear Wanted Level In Crimson Desert

Getting caught performing illegal activities in Crimson Desert will get a wanted level and a bounty. Depending on the crime, you’ll be forced to pay a certain amount of money for your crime. This can get very expensive, so it’s best to avoid it. However, if you’ve been caught, you should pay it off to avoid further penalties.

Bounties are tied to specific regions in Crimson Desert. So if you’re caught doing something illegal in Hernand, you will only have a bounty in Hernand. This is displayed on the main game map by a large red area covering the entire region.

Depending on the amount of bounty and severity of your crimes, this can cause guards and other characters to attack on sight. Defending yourself will bring further bounties.

To pay a bounty in any region, simply visit a church with a Confession NPC. The quickest and easiest one to find is in Hernand. Simply speak with the NPC and purchase a Writ Of Absolution. This will cost the same as your current bounty.

You can clear the bounty for any region this way, not just the region you’re in.

You can avoid getting caught stealing anything with the epic item Great Thief’s Gloves.
