How To Get Past Purple Sludge Ooze In Pokemon Legends Z-A

When exploring the city in Pokemon Legends Z-A, you may encounter large lumps of a sludge-like oozy substance – almost like a Muk or Grimer fell apart. These often block new routes to explore and hidden items, so let’s get to clearing them out the way.

The easiest way to clear the sludge from your path is to use a Water-based move on a Pokemon. Depending on your choice of starter Pokemon, you may not have one available immediately.

You can quickly and easily catch a Pokemon with Water Gun, Staryu. Staryu can be found in Wild Zone #2, in the streams and ponds there. However, it only spawns at night, so make sure you visit when it’s dark.

You can then summon Staryu, target the ooze with ZL, and use Water Gun to clear it.
