Green Refuge Guide For The Alters
Green Refuge is an optional task that challenges Jan to look out for something that might comfort The Technician. As keeping your Alters in a positive mental state plays a huge role in the game, it’s a good idea to seek out these optional tasks when you have the opportunity.
You need to find a Holo Disc that unlocks the ability to research and build the Park with Bench module. This is following one of the many conversation choices with Jan Technician where he speaks fondly of a park bench and his mother.
Where To Find The Holo Disc
When the game gives you the objective “look out for something that might comfort The Technician” you must complete this step in Act 2 before moving on to the next area, or the task will fail.
You can find it in the area on the map above. You will need to ensure you bring extra suit batteries with you, as you will have to pass through an anomaly that removes all of your energy, and you will also need to climb.
It’s a good idea to research the improved climbing tools and speed through the research menu. Once you found the holo disc, simply research it and construct it at the base.
